P/T Assistant Event Coordinator
Job Summary:
We’re looking for a highly organized and energetic Event Coordinator Intern to support the planning, promotion, and execution of events at The Wright Village. From entrepreneurial mixers and workshops to night markets and pitch nights, our events are key to connecting and empowering our community.
This role is perfect for someone who enjoys fast-paced environments, creative problem-solving, and community engagement.
Compensation / Academic Credit
This position can be structured as a paid internship, a credit-based academic internship, or a volunteer opportunity depending on availability of funding or the applicant’s institutional needs.
Responsibilities:
Assist with planning logistics for upcoming events, including vendor coordination, setup, and supplies
Create and manage event checklists, timelines, and layouts
Draft and manage Eventbrite pages and RSVP forms
Support onsite execution (greeting guests, setup/cleanup, facilitating transitions)
Coordinate with internal teams (marketing, café, AV) to ensure smooth run-of-show
Collect post-event feedback and support recap documentation
Qualifications:
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Strong interpersonal and communication abilities
Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks at once
Familiarity with tools like Google Workspace, Eventbrite, and Canva is a plus
Interest in entrepreneurship, events, or hospitality
Flexible schedule with availability to work evenings and weekends as needed for event coverage and rental management.
